Startup to Success: Proven Steps to Scale and Grow your Business
Great founders start businesses not to create a company but to solve a problem, to serve a calling, and to understand that they have a purpose and can make a meaningful difference. But of course, they also want their businesses to survive – and thrive. The transition from Stage 1 to Stage 2 can be the most challenging.

While many companies tend to “evolve” from one stage to another, more successful business leaders learn to streamline operations and grow their businesses smartly and efficiently.

You’ll learn:
  • The key areas you should focus on to make the biggest growth impact
  • Ideas to better manage your company’s people, processes, technology and infrastructure
  • Tactics to grow your business purposefully and efficiently, rather than just “evolving”

The Metaverse: A Virtual Community’s Impact on Business, Government and How We Live, Work, & Play
To hear tech CEOs like Mark Zuckerberg or Satya Nadella talk about it, the metaverse is the future of the internet. Or it's a video game… Or maybe it's a deeply uncomfortable, worse version of Zoom? It's hard to say. Whatever it is, it isn't coming, it's already here. And big brands, municipalities, and businesses are using it to expand their reach so how on earth (or in the metaverse) can you?

In this session, expert V. Carr provides a look at what the metaverse is and its impact on marketing, business, and the future of how we live, work and play.

You'll learn:
  • What the metaverse is, how it's accessed, how real estate, governments and other organizations are using it to amplify their success and how you can too
  • How the metaverse impacts the future of work and organizational strategies
  • How the future metaverse will impact business, education, and civil society now and in the future

Quiet Quitting: Chasing Work/Life Balance or Being Lazy?
There’s no single definition of the trending term ‘quiet quitting.’ While it has nothing to do with actually leaving your job — for some, it means setting healthy work boundaries and shifting the view that your worth as a person is not defined by your job; for others, it is just a means of doing the bare minimum because you’re disengaged with the world of work but still need a paycheck.

So, what is “quiet quitting” all about? While this concept is often seen as negative, expert Michelle Sims will shed new light on why this is a great opportunity to re-engage employees and that it’s possible to maintain healthy boundaries AND remain emotionally invested at work!

You’ll Learn:
  • What quiet quitting is, the different types of quiet quitters and why it’s happening in today’s workforce
  • How to build better relationships and increase engagement through a better understanding of needs/motivations outside of the workplace
  • How to empower our work lives with flexible (yet realistic) boundaries by clarifying goals and priorities

In-person session offerings are on a first-come, first-served basis.

Self-Awareness: Your Path to Success at Work (and in Life)
The list of attributes that lead to success is endless (and not to mention completely subjective), making it complex to construct.

However, there is one thing that contributes to all success in any shape or form, and that is self-awareness. Although it may feel like a soft and fluffy skill, Kinsella, with more than 33 years of service in the United States Navy will share from his experience what the data tells us: that people with high self-awareness have more direction, purpose, influence, and success in their professional and personal lives.

Despite this, a five-year study conducted by organizational psychologist Tasha Eurich, found that 95 percent of people believe they are self-aware. Yet only 10-15 percent actually are self-aware. Gulp.

In his keynote, Tim will help you understand yourself, build an environment for people to reach their full potential, keep your balance in crisis and lead through the prism of love — helping you to become a more successful, influential leader - the leader your people want and need.

Changing the World Through Human Leadership
As business becomes more automated, tasks that were once in the hands and minds of humans are increasingly being carried out by machines. Even though we are in danger of losing what it is to be “human,” there are still some things machines just cannot compete with...

Every person, no matter who they are, where they are in life, or what their role is, should feel empowered to bring real, human leadership to their workplace and to their lives. Getting to Yes! Negotiation Skills for Win-Win Outcomes
Negotiation skills are important both in the workplace as well as in personal life. In the workplace, they help you achieve long-term career success, boost productivity & reduce workplace conflicts. In your personal life, they boost your creative & reasoning abilities, make it more difficult for people to take advantage of you & make you a better strategizer.

Many people believe that negotiations are "all or nothing," and that there must be one winner and one loser. While the goal of negotiation is most certainly getting what you want, the fact is that the best deals allow you to win without others losing!

We tend to think of negotiation as an art, but there is a science behind it. In this session, renowned real estate developer Andrew Rothfeder, who has successfully brokered thousands of deals, will provide some scientific tactics that good negotiators use to create win-win agreements and positive outcomes with clients, vendors and co-workers.

You'll learn:
  • The science behind different types of negotiations and the process of moving through them effectively
  • The variety of tactics you have as a negotiator and how to get into “The Zone of Agreement”
  • Strategies you can use to feel more confident during uncertain negotiations

Note: In-person session offerings are on a first-come, first-served basis.

Own Your Sh#% — Holding Yourself (And Others) Accountable
When can we start holding people accountable again? Due to staff shortages, leaders are tending to lower the bar on expectations and accountability. It makes sense. The pressure on leaders is at an all-time high. More staff vacancies create much more work. Not holding people accountable leads to more pressure on coworkers. By focusing on accountability, we create that trusting culture we all desire.

This session will cover how to create goals, track metrics & decentralize command. Nikki and Buddy will share ways creating trust through a language of accountability helps you get sh#% done with integrity.

You’ll Learn:
  • Ways to build greater trust with less micromanagement
  • Steps to empower yourself and others to lead teams effectively and hold people accountable again
  • How to get sh#% done company wide, WITHOUT sacrificing speed

Note: In-person session offerings are on a first-come, first-served basis.
