Panel: Using People, Place and Purpose to Drive a Community’s Economy

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Every community has an economy. A thriving neighborhood district can contribute to this economy by creating employment opportunities, attracting dollars from outside the community, and increasing the local tax base.

In this session, you’ll learn how our panelists maximize people, place and purpose to distinguish their community from others, and how doing so contributes to the vitality of a healthy community economy.

You’ll learn:
  • New updates happening in Pensacola and other communities and how you, too, can play a role in making an economic impact
  • How a vibrant business district can add to a neighborhood’s desirability and market value
  • How each developer considers “placemaking” as a top priority when cultivating new spaces and what proactive steps are taken to build vibrant neighborhood commercial districts

Note: In-person session offerings are on a first-come, first-served basis.
